Email Templates
Email Templates are the predefined templates given in support portal, used to send out auto-response emails from system to admin, department managers, team leads, agents and end-users for various actions held in the support portal.
- Click 'Admin Panel' > 'Emails' > 'Templates'
Here you see the added email templates
Use the following links to go to the area you need help with:
Email template sets
- Open 'Admin Panel'
- Click Email > Templates
Name: The label of the email template
Status: Whether the template is enabled or disabled.
Actions: Click 'Activate this set' to enable the inactive template set.Use the 'show' button to view the existing template and click 'Delete' to remove the template set
- Open the Admin panel
- Click 'Emails' > 'Templates'
- Click 'Create' to add a new template
- Enter a label for the template set.
Click 'Create set' to save the new template.

You can now edit the added templates
Edit a template
- Open 'Admin panel'
- Click Email > Templates > Click 'Show' to edit
This tab shows the default added email templates which we can edit.,you can view a short desccription of each templates
- Select and click 'Edit template' to edit for ex : click 'assign-ticket' to edit
This template is used to send notification to agent when a ticket is assigned to them.
Template types - Deafult templates type for sending alert.Click the dropdown list to select diffrent templates.
Subjects - Add a subject that will show in the templates.Select the check box 'Use subject' if you need to add or else you can just skip this section.
Content - You can make use of the list of shortcodes available to add it to the email template and edit the contents .Please do not change the shortcodes available in the template.
- Once you change the template click on the 'Update' button to save the changes.
