Step 1 - Add Network
- Click 'How-to' > 'Set up your network to Secure Internet Gateway' to open this step.
Step 1 shows you how to choose the network to protect and add it to your trusted list. It also shows the public IP address you are connecting from, so you can copy it.
You can read your public address here and then add it as a network.
Select the network to protect
Before you start using Secure Internet Gateway, choose which network or networks you want to protect. Secure Internet Gateway applies its global security rules to your entire network using Xcitium's SecureDNS infrastructure.
To find your IP address, type “What's My IP” into a search engine, or copy the address shown on this step. Check that the address is correct.
Add the network
- Copy the IP address shown on this step.
- Click 'Configure' > 'Objects' > 'Networks'.
- Click 'Add New Network'.
- Type a name for the network.
- Paste the IP address into 'IPv4 Address / FQDN'.
- Click 'Add'.
You can add as many networks as you want and create granular policies.
