Step 1 - Download and Install the Agent

  • Click 'How-to' > 'Set up your roaming endpoints to Secure Internet Gateway' to open this step.

Step 1 covers downloading the roaming agent from the console and installing it on the endpoint. The agent registers itself to the account the package was downloaded from.

You can get the package for Windows or macOS and install it without any further configuration.

Download and install the agent

  1. Click 'Configure' > 'Objects' > 'Roaming Devices', then click 'Download Agent' at the top-right of the page.

  2. Click 'Download for Windows' for Windows devices, or 'Download for macOS' for macOS devices. If you are an MSP, also select the company you want the agent to be assigned to.

  3. Double-click the package to run it. Do not change the file or its name. After the installation is complete, the agent is registered automatically to the account the package was downloaded from.

  4. After installation a tray helper appears in the toolbar, showing information about the agent.

Note: If the agent does not register to your account automatically, check that you are looking at the correct account. Also check whether the device is already registered to another account on the portal; if it is, delete it from there. If neither applies, contact the support team.
